Are you an experienced engineering leader who thrives in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment? This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key leadership position with a reputable food manufacturer. About the Role As the Engineering Manager, you’ll lead a high-performing maintenance and projects team across several process sites. You’ll take ownership of site reliability, asset management, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring production efficiency and minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance and project professionals. Manage preventative maintenance and reliability programs to optimise plant uptime. Oversee capital projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. Partner with production, quality, and safety teams to deliver sustainable improvements. Maintain compliance with food safety, quality, and WHS standards. Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. About You You’re a hands‑on leader with a passion for manufacturing and a strong background in maintenance and engineering management. You’ll bring a strategic mindset and the ability to balance day‑to‑day reliability with long‑term improvement initiatives. You will also have: Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). Proven experience in a senior maintenance or engineering role within food, agri or FMCG. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Demonstrated success in managing CAPEX projects and maintenance budgets. A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
