Senior Inclusion Support Advisor – Southern Cross University Location options: Gold Coast, QLD 4225; Coffs Harbour, NSW 2450; Lismore, NSW 2480 – relocation assistance available. Employment type: Full‑time, fixed term (2 years). Base salary: A$95,961 – A$110,250 per annum, plus 17% employer’s superannuation contribution (total remuneration up to A$128,993). Job overview: The Study Well team delivers essential inclusion, learning support and student success services across the University. As Senior Inclusion Support Advisor, you will coordinate and mentor a small team, balancing leadership with frontline service delivery to support students with disability, long‑term illness, mental health conditions or caring responsibilities. In addition to a personal caseload, you will lead projects stemming from the University’s Disability Inclusion Action Plan, driving impactful and lasting change. Responsibilities: Co‑ordinate, mentor and develop the Inclusion Support team, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and continuous improvement. Manage a caseload (20–40 %) of students with diverse and complex needs, overseeing adjustments and inclusive learning strategies. Drive change initiatives through the Disability Inclusion Action Plan, implementing new processes, training and frameworks. Build staff capability university‑wide through disability awareness training and inclusive practice workshops. What you will bring: You are a dedicated allied health professional with extensive experience in the disability sector and a passion for creating inclusive learning environments. You possess strong leadership skills and thrive on supporting others, solving complex problems, and driving meaningful change. Required experience and skills: Bachelor’s degree or higher in occupational therapy, nursing, allied health, mental health, social work, disability studies or a related field. Strong supervisory and mentoring skills, with the ability to up‑skill and influence staff, including Faculty partners. Proven experience in disability services, inclusive education practices and accommodations (higher‑education experience valued but not essential). Experience managing complex caseloads, using assessment tools and recommending reasonable adjustments. Project‑management experience, with the ability to lead initiatives that improve systems, processes and student outcomes. Why Southern Cross University?
