PROJECT TRANSITION MANAGER Our client is re-purposing one of their existing sites to an energy hub, to support its net zero aims, and is anticipated to support the future production of Renewable Fuels, Hydrogen, and continuing to deliver fossil fuels through the existing Terminal Facility. The Terminal Transition Manager supports this strategy by leading the operatorship transition of the terminal facility from the existing facility operator to our client. The role will provide management oversight, integration, and support to multiple workstreams, and lead the transition of terminal operatorship, ensuring our clients readiness for operation that meets regulatory and internal compliance requirements. This will be an exciting contract role that offers diverse daily duties, requiring a high level of people and communication skills, emotional intelligence, influencing and integration capability, with an ability to lead multiple workstreams across a range of business areas including operations, maintenance, engineering, production planning and HSE. Required Experience Project Management Oversight to the Terminal Transition activity Experience leading diverse, multiskilled workstreams Experience supporting the transition objectives and milestones, supporting workstreams to remove barriers and ensure integration of activity sets and alignment between workstreams Experience dealing with relevant stakeholders, including internal / external parties, contracting partners and regulators as required Experience supporting site communication and change management for the transition, and support other site leaders to implement and lead their teams through the changes from the transition outcomes Experience leading management of change process to implement the transition outcomes Experience dealing with regulatory departments Preferred Experience / Education Engineering / Business degree required Experience in leading business change and transition, or operational readiness essential Experience in change management Refining, Oil & Gas or Chemical operations (Desired) Safety and People Leadership - Demonstrated safety leadership, particularly as it relates to operation of hazardous facilities Demonstrated ability to demonstrate care for people and support organisations through complex and challenging change Communication, EQ and Integration capability - Strong capability to communicate and interface with various and diverse team members, ensure team alignment on goals and objectives, and support teams to resolve issues with behaviours aligned with bp values Highly motivated, well organised, and able to engage with stakeholders with a constructive and effective approach Project Management capability - sound understanding of project management principles and tools, to enable effective reporting and oversight.
