Due to our continuous growth, we are looking for a dynamic National Key Account Executive - Grocery to join our team. Providing essential support to the sales team, the ideal candidate is highly organised, detail-oriented, passionate about driving business growth in FMCG. This behind-the-scenes role offers a clear pathway to account management for someone looking to grow their career. Your Responsibilities Grocery Account Support: Assisting key grocery accounts with inventory tracking, and communication with category buyers. Buyer Communication & Listings: Respond to buyer queries on pricing, promotions, new line submissions and supply issues. Keep product listings and pricing up to date across customer and internal portals. Performance & Strategy: In collaboration with the commercial team, provide insights on promotional performance and effectiveness to support sound strategic plans for the sales team. Customer Events & Training: Attend customer and marketing events. Help train buying and field teams and develop supporting materials in conjunction with the marketing team. Store Compliance & Inventory: Monitor store compliance with promotions and displays. Coordinate with supply teams to manage inventory during peak periods. Forecasting & Reporting: Contribute to monthly demand forecasts and reporting. Experience and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or industry experience. 2+ years of experience in sales support, territory field management or account executive role within FMCG. Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. Ability to interpret sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and inform decision-making. Strong relationship management and customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present information effectively.
