Sleep Technician (Technical Officer Grade 1) – Liverpool Hospital – Permanent Part‑Time Employment Type: Permanent Part Time, 10 hours per week Location: Liverpool Hospital Position Classification: Technical Officer Grade 1 Remuneration: $34.59 - $41.34 per hour Requisition ID: REQ Application Close Date: 16/11/2025 Interview Date Range: 19/11/2025 – 26/11/2025 Contact Details: Allan Myint – | About The Role As a Sleep Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering high‑quality care and conducting comprehensive sleep disorder testing. You will assist in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep‑related conditions using CPAP, non‑invasive ventilation, and other therapeutic modalities. Responsibilities Schedule 2 evening setup shifts (5pm–10pm) and occasional overnight shifts (9:30pm–7:30am) as required. Assist patients with the setup and monitoring of CPAP, NIV and other sleep therapy devices. Collect and record physiological data during sleep studies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to interpret results and develop treatment plans. Maintain accurate patient records and reporting to comply with clinical quality standards. Experience in patient care and performing testing in Medicine: Sleep, Respiratory, Neurology, or Cardiology. Ability to work autonomously while collaborating in a multidisciplinary team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
