Human Resources Coordinator – CHEP CHEP helps move goods worldwide via our 347 million pallets, crates and containers, employing ~13,000 people across 60 countries. As a Human Resources Coordinator you will be a key member of the HR Operations team, reporting to the HR Operations Manager, APAC, and will primarily be based in our Macquarie Park office with a flexible hybrid, work‑from‑home arrangement available. THIS IS A 6‑MONTH PARENTAL LEAVE CONTRACT. You will support employees across the APAC region on all HR operational matters, including HR systems (Workday & Kronos) support, policy and program enquiries, and leading impactful projects. In the HR Operations team we aim to deliver an excellent and seamless service for all employees from onboarding to off‑boarding. Key Responsibilities Update employee records as part of the HR employee lifecycle (onboarding, job changes, moves, leaves, terminations, and off‑boarding) Answer employees’ questions on HR processes such as holidays, days off, benefits, compensation Support HR Business Partner and other HR team members with a wide range of queries Create employment contracts, letters and other HR documents where automated or self‑service options are not available; actively promote self‑service as part of case‑management responses Manage employee benefit systems Identify opportunities for improvement in HR processes and participate in various HR projects Ensure compliance with local policy and adherence to company and HR guidelines on conduct, zero harm, confidentiality, data protection and data handling Qualifications and Success Factors Completed university degree in HR, Business Management or related discipline Some experience in HR is preferable, as is a genuine interest in growing a career in Human Resources Excellent problem‑solving skills, with a proven ability to provide solutions for time‑sensitive and confidential matters Strong focus on delivering a seamless employee experience, balancing business and employee needs while maintaining compliance Fantastic attention to detail and versatility with conflicting priorities throughout the day Strong proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) Willingness to learn HRIS systems Remote Type Hybrid Remote Skills to Succeed in the Role Active Learning, Adaptability, Benefits Administration, Cross‑Functional Work, Curiosity, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Data Analytics, Data Reporting, Digital Literacy, Emotional Intelligence, Empathy, Employee Experience, Human Resource Case Management, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), Human Resources (HR) Policies, Human Resources (HR) Service Delivery, Initiative, Knowledge Management, Problem Solving, Process Improvements, Process Mapping, Report Preparation, Work Performance Equal Employment Opportunity We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and are committed to developing a diverse workforce in which everyone is treated fairly, with respect, and has the opportunity to contribute to business success while realizing his or her potential.
