National Business Manager - Coles & department stores Ready to lead and grow strategic partnerships with Coles and department stores across Australia? We are looking for an ambitious National Business Manager to own the Coles portfolio and other key department store customer relationships, drive category growth, and lead cross-functional execution to deliver exceptional in‑store and online performance. If you have a passion for consumer brands, with a customer‑centric mindset and a drive to get things done, this is your moment. This is a full-time role based in Richmond, with hybrid flexibility. What your day‑to‑day responsibilities will look like Own the Coles and designated department store P&Ls, including sales targets, forecast accuracy, and promotional efficiency. Develop and lead retailer strategies including JBPs, pricing, promotions and category growth. Work cross‑functionally with Marketing, Finance and Operations teams to ensure flawless execution. Drive in‑store shelf excellence: planograms & assortment optimisation. Manage retailer partnerships and field broker partners to ensure clear accountability and achievement of KPIs. Use data and insights to inform decisions and prepare clear business updates for leadership. Lead and develop 1 high performing direct report. About You You will have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar FMCG role, ideally with experience in Grocery or Department Store channels, along with: Proven ability to build, influence and manage executive‑level retailer relationships. Strong analytical skills with experience in demand planning & trade spend. Solid understanding of commercial models, category management and shelf dynamics. Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly in senior retailer meetings. Proficiency with data tools and systems, experience with e‑commerce activation a plus. Why Join Us?
