Holy Rosary School - DOUBLEVIEW School Principal: Mr. Michael O'Dwyer Location: 35 Williamstown Road, Doubleview, WA 6018 Position Type: Part‑Time, Term: Temporary Position Details Holy Rosary School is a prestigious Catholic double‑stream school located in Perth’s western suburbs. The role involves maintaining grounds, performing light maintenance, and ensuring a safe, clean environment for students. Work hours: 6:30 am – 11:00 am daily. Flexible hours may be negotiated on school holidays. Start date: Friday 2 January 2025 or earlier by agreement. Induction will be paid, around the week of 15 December 2025. Duties Routine garden maintenance: trim hedges, weed beds, water plants, and maintain outdoor play areas. Keep grounds to a high standard: pick up rubbish, remove cobwebs, reinstall pavement, and perform general repairs. Perform maintenance: repair locks, patch plaster, paint, and basic plumbing repairs. Prepare regular status reports on facility operations and project progress for senior management, in consultation with the Principal. Work Health and Safety compliance: monitor and report hazards, conduct basic risk assessments, and ensure safe use/storage of tools and chemicals. Conduct security and safety checks: open/lock buildings and gates; conduct routine inspections of grounds and buildings. Maintain tools and equipment; report faults as necessary. Assist with deliveries and waste management. Supervise contractors or tradespeople as required. Move and assemble office furniture. Collect mail and run errands as required. Assist with event set‑up. Selection Criteria Strong organisation and time‑management skills. Knowledge and experience with maintenance work such as plumbing and basic irrigation repair. Experience with gardening requirements. Teamwork and excellent communication. Reliable, flexible, and punctual. Current driver’s licence, full Class C. National Police Clearance. Ability to perform physical requirements of the role.
