What you’ll be doing Provide senior physiotherapy clinical leadership within the Southern Area Brain Injury service (SABIS), including optimisation of client care delivery and support for mentoring and development of staff. Facilitate interventions to develop a client’s physical and independent living skills to optimum functioning, based on client goals and in collaboration with the SABIS team and relevant third parties. Deliver services to adult clients of SABIS through community outreach, inreach to Transitional Living Unit clients and telehealth support as required. Provide assessment, intervention and consultation for pediatric clients based on service demand. Qualifications and selection criteria Current registration with AHPRA as a physiotherapist. Extensive experience in rehabilitation and well‑developed knowledge of brain injury services, with ability to work with minimal supervision as part of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent negotiation, decision‑making and advocacy skills and collaborative stakeholder consultation. Demonstrated high‑level organisational and time‑management skills, with ability to independently problem‑solve and set priorities in complex situations. Ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality‑improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes with other staff. Ability to provide case management for people with complex needs in a community setting. Current unrestricted driver’s licence and willingness to drive/travel, including long distances and overnight stays.
