Company Overview Mrs Jones the Baker is a boutique bakery on Sydney's northern beaches. We make all our products from scratch using the finest ingredients from Australia and Europe. Role Summary We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Head Baker to join our team as we grow, producing some of Sydney's finest bread and baked goods for our stores and wholesale clients. Responsibilities Lead day‑to‑day production of bread and baked goods, ensuring high quality and consistency. Mix, bake and shape sourdough, feed and create new product lines for our 7 stores. Demonstrate strong lamination skills and oversee the cleanliness and organization of the bakery. Order supplies, manage inventory, schedule and roster the team for a seven‑day week. Plan and support the opening of a new bakery facility, including layout and equipment setup. Foster effective communication and team spirit in a hands‑on environment. Requirements Extensive experience in bread baking, sourdough shaping, and line creation. Proficient in lamination and other advanced baking techniques. Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills. Car ownership (parking provided) and full working rights in Australia.
