Overview of the Role As a Business Development Account Manager (BDAM) , you'll own and grow a portfolio of Trade, Government, Academic clients across ANZ. This role focuses on strategic account expansion, deepening relationships, and unlocking new revenue opportunities . Responsibilities Balance revenue growth with client success, ensuring long-term partnerships. Ensure high renewal rates while identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Act as a strategic advisor, helping clients leverage insights for profitable growth, innovation, and competitive advantage. Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments, demonstrating clear ROI and strategic value. Build executive-level relationships, becoming a trusted advisor within client organizations, expanding engagement and usage. Represent Euromonitor at industry events and forums to enhance brand visibility and generate new business. Success Metrics Success is measured by your ability to exceed revenue targets, significantly expand existing accounts, and deepen strategic client relationships . Key Responsibilities Renew & Expand Existing Accounts Identify growth opportunities within existing client portfolios and manage a robust pipeline. Align Euromonitor solutions with clients' strategic goals. Manage multi-stakeholder decision-making to demonstrate value and ROI. Own the Client Relationship Develop and maintain relationships at senior levels. Position Euromonitor as a key partner in strategic decision-making. Expand your network within client organizations to foster growth. Deliver Strategic Value Act as a strategic consultant to enable clients' business growth and innovation. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored research and solutions. Enhance market visibility and identify new growth opportunities. Client Training & Support Conduct training and demos to maximize product utilization. Gather client feedback to improve offerings. Qualifications Proven experience in Government Sales or Account Management in ANZ. Strategic thinker with strong corporate decision-making understanding. Revenue-driven with a record of exceeding targets. Excellent communicator, influencing senior stakeholders. Highly motivated, thriving in competitive environments. Preferred Experience 3+ years in Government account management, business development, or consultative sales. Experience in market intelligence, consulting, or B2B sales preferred. Strong negotiation, networking, and presentation skills. Data-driven, with a business case mindset.
