Our Engineering division designs and constructs manufacturing facilities, refurbishes existing facilities and designs and constructs automation plant for manufacturing plants and warehouses. We are currently seeking qualified and experienced site Fitter to join our Installation Teams based at Somersby on the NSW Central Coast. This position would suit someone who would like to work in a large business where their effort is acknowledged and they feel part of a team. Whilst working within the Installation team you will be responsible for project work, site installation and commissioning new equipment and machinery in the automation and construction fields. Key Responsibilities Perform project work, site installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery Read and understand Engineering Drawings Fabricate components and perform machining tasks Conduct machine troubleshooting, problem‑solving and fault finding Work unsupervised or as part of a team Travel to locations as required, either daily or on a LAHA basis Work overtime when required Required Qualifications Qualified and experienced tradesman Excellent written and verbal communication skills A can‑do attitude and ability to perform under pressure Self‑motivated with a focus on timely completion of jobs Attention to detail and highest quality workmanship Preferred Qualifications Hold EWP and Working at Heights certification Licence to perform dogging or rigging (advantage) CN or C6 crane ticket To be successful in this role you must be self‑motivated and be willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner. Attention to detail and highest quality workmanship are paramount. Your skills and work ethic will be rewarded with excellent working conditions and competitive rates. As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre‑employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric and drug and alcohol testing.
