Job Summary Full time, ongoing opportunity to join our Radiology Department. Working across all Austin Health main sites. $123.6k – $136.2k base salary range + allowances + generous salary packaging + super (pro‑rata for part time). About the Radiology Department The Department offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic and interventional services and operates at the Austin and Repatriation Hospitals and the satellite imaging service to Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre. All staff are expected to cover extended hours provision of service. Services include General X‑ray, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, MRI, CT, Mobile and Theatre, Angiography, Cath Lab and Interventional procedures for inpatient, ED and outpatient clinics. About the role An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Medical Imaging Technologist to join as Grade 4 Tutor Radiographer. You will lead and facilitate training, education and development programmes for students and staff, contributing to clinical excellence and quality improvements. Perform an 8‑hour shift in a dynamic 24/7 hospital environment. Undertake routine and specialised imaging procedures using modern equipment. Lead and/or contribute to staff development, education and quality improvement. Liaise with senior staff to ensure training and supervision needs are met. About you Experience and qualities include: Excellent communication skills and commitment to patient care. Energy, drive and keen interest in developing skills. Post‑graduate qualification is advantageous but not essential. A passion for teaching and education. Excellent people skills and emotional intelligence. Clear focus on patient, staff, radiation and workplace safety. Strong work ethic and passion for quality improvement initiatives. High level of independence, flexibility and initiative.
