Senior WHS Advisor – Psychosocial Hazards Apply for the Senior WHS Advisor – Psychosocial Hazards role at Robert Walters. About The Role This Senior Work Health and Safety (WHS) Advisor will lead the development, implementation and continual improvement of business‑wide WHS policies, frameworks and processes. They will guide the organization in meeting its legislative obligations while fostering a proactive, risk‑aware culture. The role involves conducting psychosocial hazard risk assessments, overseeing fatigue management frameworks, and ensuring WHS practices are embedded across all business functions. As a trusted subject‑matter expert, the advisor provides high‑level advice, analysis and support to leaders and staff on a broad range of safety matters. Contract: 12‑month, Sydney‑based, up to $750 plus super per day. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and ongoing enhancement of WHS policies, procedures and frameworks across the organization. Coordinate psychosocial hazard risk assessments and partner with stakeholders to implement effective controls and wellbeing initiatives. Oversee fatigue management processes and ensure monitoring, reporting and compliance with relevant standards. Provide expert WHS guidance to leaders, ensuring risks are identified, managed and communicated effectively. Analyse WHS data to identify trends, generate insights and drive targeted improvement initiatives. Support training, education and engagement activities to strengthen WHS capability across teams. Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to embed safe practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement. About You Demonstrated experience in a senior WHS role, with strong knowledge of legislation, WHS frameworks and contemporary safety practices. Expertise in psychosocial risk assessments, wellbeing considerations, and fatigue management. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, coach and guide others. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a proactive and solutions‑focused approach. A commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality and fostering a positive, engaged safety culture.
