PR Account Manager – Corporate

We’re looking for a driven Account Manager based in our Melbourne office with corporate communications experience in financial services and professional sectors. This is a career accelerating role, working with a team of skilled PR professionals while learning essential reputation management skills to fast-track future advancement. You will also work closely with the wider leadership team comprising integrated marketing, healthcare, and technology experts. You’ll be the linchpin of day‑to‑day client services: steering projects with confidence, shaping narratives, and effectively managing projects from start to finish, collaborating across teams to build integrated comms strategy, and mentoring junior team members. About you You’re curious, accountable and driven A team player who enjoys deliberate debates to bring the best outcome to clientsA trusted adviser to clients and an empathetic leader A confident communicator who can lead client conversations, manage deadlines and client expectations, and steer projects independently A team player who loves collaboration but can also take initiative – calm under pressure, proactive, curious and solutions‑oriented What We’re Looking For Minimum 5 years’ PR or communications experience in a public relations consultancy or a relevant in‑house role Must have 2–3 years' experience in financial or professional services Experience in reputation, crisis communications, issues management, and stakeholder management A natural storyteller and strong writer with a nose for news and a strategic mindset A media expert who has the right skills to build strong relationships with journalists Experience managing teams and budgets, including capacity planning, profitability tracking and forecasting Experience with proposals, tenders and new business pitches Why Join We.?
