This luxurious aged care home is situated in the historic suburb of St Mary’s which is known as “the gateway to the Penrith Valley”. Residents enjoy the spacious, high standard accommodation which includes single and double suites, each with its own private ensuite, and large windows allowing natural light, with views of the landscaped designed gardens and courtyards. Each suite features state of the art beds, flat screen TV’s with Foxtel, Wi-Fi and air conditioning About the Role: We are seeking a Personal Care Workers (previously known as Nursing Assistants) to join our team on a casual or permanent part-time basis. We currently have shifts available from Monday to Sunday from 07:00 to 3:00pm. You will be based at Boronia House located at 183 Boronia Rd St Mary's (North) NSW 2760. Boronia House currently have shifts available 7 days a week from 4:00PM to 9:00PM. This is a great opportunity for candidates seeking flexible work schedules and looking to join a supportive team who place a great emphasis on mentoring and training. We are seeking enthusiastic candidates who are keen to join our fantastic team at Boronia House and provide excellent care and support to our residents. Daily duties: Provide quality care according to the current Resident Care Plan to meet the individuals needs and enhance quality of life Assist residents with daily living activities, grooming, mobility and nutrition Contribute to care plans and documentation Communicate effectively and professionally with the Nursing Team Desired skills andexperience: Experience in aged care desirable; Ideally will have Certificate III or Certificate IV in Nursing; Demonstratesexcellence in customer service and care; and Hasan interest in working with the elderly. Must have 2 years of experience in Aged Care About the Company: Thompson Health Care is a family-owned company, with five decades of experience.
