Hats off Kitchens (Central Coast) & Gillmer Kitchens (Sydney) is a busy, family run business that has been operating for over 70 years. We retail kitchen products to the public and service from Newcastle down to the Northern Beaches in Sydney, although the bulk of our work is on the Central Coast. We are currently seeking an experienced Office Manager to assist with the operation and management of our successful small business. This is a fast paced & varied role, working full time (38hrs) Monday-Friday. Essential Criteria Exceptional organisational skills Exceptional oral & written communication skills Outstanding customer service skills, always using a friendly smile along with a positive attitude Able to work in a team as well as on your own unsupervised Be well presented, reliable, punctual, confident, efficient, trustworthy and hard working Be a fast learner Meticulous attention to detail Able to follow directions – we are particular with the way we run our business, being able to follow direction in a timely manner is a must Ability to meet deadlines in a very fast paced environment Ability to remain calm and work well under pressure Ability to keep jobs running smoothly by following processes & procedures Good problem-solving skills Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information Knowledge of Xero accounting program Previously worked in similar position in similar company Kitchen industry knowledge Able to read kitchen plans Some Tasks Include (but are not limited to) Answering phones Scheduling appointments Check and action e-mails daily Greeting clients in our Showroom and assist with customer enquiries regarding materials and design Chase suppliers for late/delayed orders Accounts receivable/payable Email delivery and install information & communicate with clients throughout project Submit/close off HBCF insurance for projects (when required) Type up HIA building contracts (when required) Address customer concerns/complaints IT – phones, internet, printer Event co-ordination (e.g. Christmas Party) Maintain WHS folder and induct new staff members Annual workplace inspections Write up daily run sheet for warehouse staff Assist team including director, sales staff and warehouse staff Working hours are Monday – Friday (38hrs per week). (Monday: 8am-4:30pm & Tuesday-Friday: 8am-4pm) Overtime as required. WE ARE CLOSED WEEKENDS & PUBLIC HOLIDAYS. Please note: Our business closes down over the Christmas period. We are looking to commence this position on Wednesday 7th January 2026. Hourly rate is negotiable and will be dependent on experience.
