Responsibilities In supporting Upstream Manager, Lead the preparation, review, and submission of all upstream commercial documentation including variations, claims, extension of time (EOT) submissions, notices, and related correspondence in accordance with the Head Contract. Engage with client-side representatives to negotiate and resolve commercial matters in a timely and professional manner. Ensure upstream commercial registers, including claims and variation registers, are accurately maintained and up to date within internal systems (e.g., SharePoint). Provide strategic commercial advice to Upstream Commercial Manager on upstream matters, including risks, opportunities, and potential impacts to project outcomes. Support the preparation and presentation of monthly commercial and contractual reports for Upstream Commercial Manager. Monitor and ensure compliance with head contract obligations, timelines, and project governance frameworks. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in commercial practices across the project. Act as a key liaison between internal teams (planning, engineering, delivery) and external parties regarding upstream commercial matters.
