Add expected salary to your profile for insights We are seeking a Full Time Night Manager at The Reef Hotel Casino, the pre-eminent centre for gaming, entertainment, food and accommodation in Cairns. A rare and exciting opportunity for a guest obsessed, dynamic and self-motivated front office professional to join our friendly Front Office night team. Key Responsibilities Responsible for overall operation of the hotel during the night / early morning hours. Coordinate night audit procedures and ensure compilation of night reports. Confidently deal with guest issues / requests in a professional and diplomatic manner striving to provide a quality guest experience whilst ensuring excellence in service. Ensure all incidents, inspections, discrepancies are recorded. Assist the Manager in directing and coordinating activities at night to achieve maximum efficiency and proficiency. Be fully conversant with emergency plans and procedures, prevention and investigation of breaches of security and coordinate when required. Distribute department floats, ensuring they are signed in on return and check all Outlet balances and cash when required and secure. Criteria Previous experience in a Night Audit supervisory position. Self-motivated, reliable and honest with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication skill both verbal and written. Exceptional guest and customer service focus. Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Competent in the use of Opera (desirable) and Microsoft Office. High standard of presentation and hygiene. Current Class A driver’s licence. Micros and Food and Beverage knowledge. Ability to understand, be supportive, encourage and be helpful to your colleagues and various cultural groups. All Front Office applicants are required to possess a current Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol Attainment Certificate , and a current Class A driver’s licence .
