Responsibilities As an EcoResolve ecologist, you will: Assist with flora/fauna and ecological surveys and reporting for a diverse range of projects. Compile information on terrestrial ecology in both coastal and inland environments for monitoring, research, offset and impact assessment projects. Work in the field and collaborate with clients and colleagues to deliver positive outcomes, gaining best practice industry experience in Newcastle and throughout New South Wales. Qualifications Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Science, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Natural Resources or related field. Sound flora and fauna identification skills. Strong report writing and computer skills (Microsoft Office). Comprehensive interpersonal and relationship building skills. Mid-level Ecologist – 3+ years ecological or environmental experience. Senior Ecologists – 5+ years ecological or environmental experience. Principal Ecologists – 7+ years ecological or environmental experience. Biodiversity Assessment Method (BAM) accreditation and/or experience with GIS (ArcGIS Pro) spatial analysis would be viewed favourably.
