Mechanical Tradesperson

Reporting to the Maintenance and Site Services Superintendent, we are looking for a Mechanical Tradesperson to join the team at CleanCo’s 570MW Pumped Storage Hydro power station, west of Brisbane. In this role you will perform a variety of mechanical tasks including plant maintenance, modification, overhauls and plant inspections to meet the operation and maintenance requirements of the station. Due to some long-term unexpected leave across the team, this is a 1-year maximum term contract that works a Monday to Thursday 36.25 hour roster. Key responsibilities Conduct Operational Inspections and Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain plant equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation. Support Failure Investigations and Fault Diagnostic's: Analyse equipment failures, diagnose mechanical issues, and contribute to corrective and preventative solutions. Prioritize and Coordinate Maintenance Work: Plan, organize, and execute maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize plant performance. Supervise Contractors and Internal Personnel: Oversee and coordinate work during maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Foster Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance systems, streamline processes, and improve plant efficiency and reliability. #J-18808-Ljbffr
