Wood is recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join our Oceania Materials business which covers Mining and chemicals markets, across all three business units (Consulting, Projects and Operations). This is a key leadership role based in Brisbane, supporting the Oceania Growth and Development team in building client relationships and growing the business. This is a permanent full time basis role. Designing the future of mining, Wood’s Materials business provides global expertise, delivered locally. Our Values : Care Courage Commitment Knowledge, Skills & Experience University degree (bachelors or masters) in relevant discipline or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience 15+ years of experience covering business management and development along with site-based experience. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data effectively Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment Knowledge of the QLD and PNG mining market and industry is required What will set you apart will be your proven experience partnering with clients from juniors through to tier one majors, from concept development through project execution in an EPCM contractual model.
