Automotive Mechanic LV/HV/Plant (GSE Mechanic) - Brisbane Airport Join our global leader in Ground Support Equipment Maintenance at TCR. This role is based in Brisbane Airport and offers opportunities for growth within a collaborative environment. Benefits 4 days on, 4 days off shifts – 5 weeks (190 hours) of annual leave Great exposure to the aviation industry Competitive salary, uniforms provided and laundered, and excellent mentorship Health and Happiness leave days (2 additional days) Supportive work culture with opportunities for women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and veterans Job Responsibilities Utilise technical skills to conduct repairs and preventive maintenance of ground support equipment Report daily to the Shift Supervisor while ultimately reporting to the State Service Manager Perform preventive servicing, data collection, repair and maintenance tasks to trade standard Promote a safety‑first approach Collaborate with fabricators, technicians and assistants to develop and implement effective solutions Work with a variety of GSE specialised equipment Qualifications Relevant mechanic trade qualification Own personal tools Experience with diesel engines, hydraulic systems and electrical fault finding (highly regarded) Valid driver’s license Strong focus on safety standards and company policies & procedures Experience working within procedural guidelines Good communication skills and proactiveness Positive attitude, ability to work autonomously and as a team player Pre‑employment Checks Police and medical checks are mandatory for this position.
