About the Role: As a Support Worker, you'll help people stay safe and comfortable at home by: Helping with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming) Providing respite care (giving carers a break) Helping clients stay active and connected in their community Following care plans to meet each person's needs Working as a team to provide the best support possible Why Work with Us? When you join us, you'll enjoy: Salary packaging - Get up to $15,900 tax-free per year to increase your take-home pay Retail discounts - Save money at 700+ stores Extra pay on leave - 17.5% leave loading on annual leave Career growth - Opportunities to move into Residential Care or Community Services What You Need: Must-Haves: A caring nature - Passionate about helping people Good communication skills - Able to chat and listen to clients and team members Ability to work independently - Comfortable using technology in your role A valid driver's licence Access to a reliable, insured car A Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to get one) Nice-to-Have (but not required): Certificate in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services (We provide training if you don't have one) Experience in aged care or disability support First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to get one) It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
