About this Opportunity Reporting directly to the Manager Clinical, Safety and Quality, this role is an integral part of the Clinical Safety Quality team. The Clinical Safety, Quality and Risk Management Facilitator is responsible for providing a range of service supports covering clinical safety, quality and risk management systems, including incident management, clinical audit, quality improvement, risk management and education / resource development for clinical safety and quality. Monitoring clinical incidents and consumer feedback via the incident management system Generating monthly dashboard reports for the Clinical Governance Sub Committees Supporting clinicians in the use of the clinical audit system, and the audit and quality improvement process Monitoring the status of the annual RFDS SA/NT Clinical Audit Program and facilitating data reporting Contributing to quality improvement activities to support the clinical accreditation program(s) including but not limited to NSQHS, EURAMI Supporting education and professional development for clinical staff by facilitating the development of education packages utilising the Learning Management System About You Experience leading, motivating and influencing others to work towards a common purpose, accomplish tasks and achieve organisational objectives Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders Conceptual and analytical skills, including the ability to analyse information and provide reports and findings The ability to take a creative and innovative approach when facing challenges and overcoming obstacles Effective time management skills and an ability to prioritise responsibilities to meet stipulated deadlines Qualifications Experience in the health or aged care sector with specific experience in safety and quality management systems A sound working knowledge and understanding of operations and contemporary issues in health care, particularly safety and quality Understanding of change management principles and practices Experience in undertaking accreditation against the requirements of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards or equivalent quality assurance system Knowledge of health‑related legislations and relevant current Government policies and risk management principles and practices as outlined in the International Standard for Risk Management (AS/NZS ISO 31000:2009) and Standards Australia HB 327:2010 – Communicating and consulting about risk Our Benefits Generous annual salary packaging options to reduce your taxable income, including packaging up to $15,899 of your salary towards loans, rent and bills Packaging of an additional $2,650 of your salary via a meal and entertainment card Reward and Recognition Platform Learning Management System Employee value awards Employee Assistance Program Comprehensive orientation program for new starters Free onsite parking Further Information To access the position description, please click here.
