Product Manager – Technical Engineering Software At ELEK Software we create beautifully designed software that is extremely easy to use for the booming electrical power industry. Since 2009 we have delivered high‑quality cloud‑based SaaS and PC‑based solutions to our worldwide customers. Our multi‑disciplinary team of experienced engineers, PhD researchers, and professional software developers needs your product management skills to drive new products and features. Key Responsibilities Manage end‑to‑end software development from concept through final testing. Analyse business requirements and deliver new software projects. Provide simple software solutions to complex problems that help our customers. Participate in and contribute to project planning and road‑mapping of features. Prioritise, organise and build what matters to the business. Work on both Scrum (iterative) or Waterfall (sequential) process‑based software projects. Manage and organise projects and teams using Asana, Jira, and Confluence. Provide direction and articulate a clear vision, strategy, scope, and success metrics to teams. Communicate with team members across different time zones to find the best solutions to difficult problems. Set team priorities and goals, track progress, and manage internal and customer expectations. Deliver project reporting that gives good visibility to the team, management, and customers. Directly influence strategic decisions of the business. Ensure seamless project execution, efficiency, and quality through documenting learnings for continued growth. Innovate within the business and the product management role. Desired Experience & Qualifications Product Management experience with cloud software products and agile development and releases. Shipping quality products that delivered high benefits for both business and customers. Product management background or technical/analyst background with understanding of team role challenges. Analytical thinker – metrics and facts influence product prioritisation and strategy. Experience in unbiased customer research. Collaborative approach – consider others’ ideas, implement new methods, surface and resolve disagreements, and empathise with users. Location Head office in Sydney (hybrid work model).
