About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Coordinator Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) at our Evatt and Duffy locations on a Full‑Time basis. The Senior Coordinator will manage the team at the service and ensure the delivery of quality care, manage the service and build strong relationships with children, families, school personnel and colleagues. The Senior Coordinator is responsible for multiple groups of children within the one service. In this role, you will: Apply National Principles for Child Safe Organisations as relevant to the role. Ensure high‑quality service delivery in line with regulatory and legislative standards. Implement the National Quality Framework in program development, delivery and evaluation. Manage employee performance and professional development. Lead recruitment activities for the service. Oversee employee contract variations. Act as Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader under Children’s Education and Care National Law. Maintain PRODA listing as person in day‑to‑day charge (per ACECQA requirements). Gather and submit required documentation for CECA reporting to the Manager. Monitor and manage program budget, including staffing rosters, in line with regulatory requirements. Handle team member replacements due to absence, ensuring compliance with regulations. To be successful for this role, you must possess the following: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education (or ACECQA approved equivalent). Extensive skills, knowledge and experience in OSHC, including demonstrated use of the My Time, Our Place framework and The Early Years Learning Framework (where applicable). Current first aid certificate in an education and care setting (including asthma and anaphylaxis). Ability to contribute to development of OSHC policies and procedures. Highly effective interpersonal, leadership and people management skills. Demonstrated high level of communication techniques including verbal and written that engender positive relationships and influence stakeholders effectively to resolve functional issues. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team. Reliable, punctual and mature attitude to work. Demonstrated understanding of professional boundaries, privacy and confidentiality. Why work with Woden Community Services?
