Company Benefits Flexible work arrangements Full‑time, permanent contract Collaborative team with supportive leadership Internal career growth opportunities Melbourne CBD office with an‑site fitness centre and wellness classes Job Description As a Claims Consultant within our Group space across AusSuper, you will manage life insurance claims from start to finish, providing a seamless experience for our customers. In This Role You Will A key focus is providing a best‑in‑class customer and client experience, including regular communication regarding the status of claims and managing expectations to deliver on quality health and claim outcomes. Independently manage a portfolio of TPD and IP claims end‑to‑end. Assess, analyse, calculate and finalise claims payments. Engage external treating doctors, rehabilitation consultants, and in‑house medical and legal specialists to deliver timely outcomes for our customers. Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with our philosophy, policy and claims procedures. Participate in case conferences, peer case discussions, and instruct third‑party service providers. Qualifications Life insurance claims management experience within Group policy – IP and/or TPD claims experience is ideal. Workers Compensation or Return to Work claims management experience with an Allied Health background. Strong analytical, problem‑solving and time‑management skills. Excellent communication and empathy to support customers during challenging times. Solid understanding of injuries, illnesses and treatment.
