Base pay range A$170, / yr - A$200, / yr Direct message the job poster from Pacific Green Pacific Green is accelerating Australia's clean-energy transition with a significant pipeline of battery storage and renewable projects set to reshape the market over the coming years. The Opportunity Reporting to the Commercial Director, you'll take ownership of all offtake activity - driving origination, shaping deal structures, and leading negotiations that support project bankability and long term growth. This is a hands on, market facing commercial role where you'll influence strategy, bring opportunities to life, and be the primary interface for our offtake partners. What you'll lead Originate and secure offtake deals across corporates, retailers, traders, and aggregators. Craft commercial strategies that position our BESS and renewable portfolio for success. Shape and negotiate complex deals - PPAs, trading arrangements, firming products, innovative contracting models. Be the market face of Pacific Green, building networks, opening pipelines, and spotting opportunities early. Guide key decisions for senior leadership with sharp market insights and commercial recommendations. What you bring Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Law, or related. 3–5 years in energy markets (origination, commercial, trading or similar). Strong understanding of pricing, contracting structures, and market dynamics. Confident negotiator who can take a deal from first conversation to execution. Ability to collaborate seamlessly with modelling, legal, finance, and development teams. Bonus points for experience in BESS, trading / retail, firming products, synthetic PPAs, or bankability processes.
