About our Role Lead one of our most critical customer partnerships and ensure the voice of Coles shapes our decisions. As our National Account Manager - Coles, you’ll be responsible for driving growth through joint business planning, accurate forecasting and optimized promotional strategies. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll deliver best-in-class range reviews, new product launches and activation plans, while influencing category strategy to keep our brands front and centre in Australian homes. What You Will Do Success in this role means being the customer advocate within Simplot and delivering results through strategic planning and execution. You will: Develop and continuously review robust Joint Business Plans with Coles, ensuring all initiatives are delivered Own and manage the 0-36 month forecast, addressing biases and achieving accuracy targets Deliver internal and external financial metrics, ensuring alignment with budget targets and customer growth aspirations Continuously review and optimize trade spend and promotional plans to maximize ROI and competitiveness Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, category, activation, finance, and supply teams to execute range reviews and new product launches Build and strengthen relationships with Coles stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and category partner Analyse consumer insights and work with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that drive growth and market share About You To succeed in this role, you will bring a strategic mindset, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to build influential partnerships that deliver growth. Minimum 3 years’ experience in FMCG account management, ideally with exposure to major retailers Ability to negotiate and influence effectively, securing win-win outcomes and building sustainable relationships Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the capability to interpret data, manage budgets, and drive profitability Excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling you to deliver compelling business reviews and proposals Collaborative approach, working seamlessly across teams and influencing stakeholders to achieve shared objectives Comfortable challenging the status quo and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement Proactive and accountable mindset, taking ownership and consistently delivering on commitments Ready to Make an Impact?
