As the Technology Risk Governance Lead, you will: Serve as the strategic Secretariat for the Technology Risk Forum, setting the agenda, crafting high‑impact packs, capturing critical decisions, and engaging directly with C‑suite and influencing Board‑level stakeholders. Drive the evolution and maturity of governance frameworks, ensuring robust oversight and enabling decisive, enterprise‑level risk management. Lead the development and delivery of sophisticated, data‑driven risk reporting to senior forums (e.g., Board Risk Committee, Technology Transformation Committee), providing actionable insights that influence organisational strategy. Advise executive leadership with forward‑thinking recommendations to inform pivotal risk decisions. Oversee annual reviews and enhancements of the Technology Board Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) and Risk Management Framework (RMF), ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and the organisation’s long‑term vision. Architect and champion a risk culture transformation plan, embedding exemplary risk behaviours and supporting the Technology Leadership Team in building a resilient, high‑performance culture. Direct the coordination of internal and external technology audits, compliance reviews, and technology‑specific regulatory submissions, ensuring the organisation consistently meets and exceeds regulatory expectations. Forge and nurture influential relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and thought leader on risk governance and culture across the enterprise. About You Extensive senior leadership experience in technology and operational risk, working within Australian financial services. Deep expertise in risk governance, analytics, and regulatory compliance at the enterprise level. A proven track record in shaping risk culture and leading audit and assurance programs. Exceptional ability to engage, influence, and inspire senior management and executive level stakeholders. Superior communication skills, with the gravitas to convey complex concepts persuasively and simply to all levels of the organisation. Advanced knowledge of APRA prudential standards (e.g., CPS230, CPS220) and their strategic implications. Tertiary and/or postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field (such as CRISC, CGEIT, CISA, COBIT) are highly regarded.
