Paramount Paper Merchants Pty Ltd – Saint Kilda VIC Paramount Packaging is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Accounts/Customer Service Officer to join our family‑owned packaging business based in St Kilda, to provide accounts and office support. Working closely with the Directors, and engaging directly with customers and suppliers, this role is essential in ensuring accurate stock receipting, invoicing, and smooth daily operations. What you’ll be doing Enter, match, and process all supplier invoices Prepare and process supplier payments Receipt incoming stock and verify delivery documentation Track pallet movements and maintain accurate inventory records Process customer orders and generate invoices Post and reconcile cash receipts and banking Maintain debtor and creditor records with accuracy Liaise with customers and suppliers regarding orders, delivery updates, and account queries Answer phones and provide friendly, professional customer support Assist with general office administration as required What we’re looking for Minimum 3 years experience in accounts or administration Strong attention to detail and accuracy across data entry and accounts tasks Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a small team Experience with accounting or inventory software (preferred but not essential) Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritize competing tasks Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable Fast and accurate data entry, with strong attention to detail Proactive, “can‑do” attitude and willingness to take ownership What we offer A warm, supportive, family‑run work environment Long‑term job security in a stable business Close to public transport Close to shops and cafés Walking distance to the beach Free on‑site parking About us For over 60 years, our family‑run business Paramount Packaging has been supplying packaging products to the Victorian industry.
