We are looking for an energetic, passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead, guide and inspire a team to deliver a memorable guest experience. With a proven track record in leading by example, and a passion in delivering quality food consistently, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to: Be Creative You will be responsible for developing seasonal menus and specials which are on trend, will suit our target market, and come in on budget. Don’t forget there are some essential nuts and bolts to running a kitchen: Making sure we have enough resources – from the food through to the people Ensuring quality, consistency and high standards Ensuring our team and customers are in a safe environment Ensuring Food Safety Standards are practiced by all the team. To be successful in obtaining this role: You will demonstrate leadership skills that are the perfect material to write a best-selling motivational novel Our kitchen is far from the traditional kitchens of the past, we are progressive in our ability to collaborate as a high performing team. To succeed in this role it is critical that you are flexible, adaptable and passionate about developing your team to be the best they can be. You will be able to demonstrate your creativity, passion and technical expertise in all things food. You will know all tips of the trade in creating a successful restaurant and memorable dining experience for your customers. You will be as cool as a cucumber – super organised, and able to handle the heat of the kitchen in a calm and reassuring way.
