Due to an internal promotion, we’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Grants Officer to coordinate and administer Council’s Community Grants Program and lead grant-related initiatives that improve outcomes across our shire. About the Role As the Grants Officer, you’ll: Administer Council’s Community Grants Program, from applications and assessments to payments and reporting. Provide guidance, information, and training to community groups and internal teams. Coordinate assessment panels and maintain clear, accurate records. Research and promote government and philanthropic funding opportunities. Develop and maintain systems, guidelines and communications related to grants. Write and manage grant applications that deliver lasting community benefit. This role offers variety, impact, and the chance to make a real contribution to local initiatives and partnerships that enrich the Noosa community. About You You’re an organised, community-focused professional with strong administrative, coordination and communication skills. You enjoy balancing detail and deadlines, and take pride in supporting projects that make a difference. You’ll ideally have experience in grants administration, community development, or local government, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, build strong relationships, and deliver accurate, timely results. Qualifications: Certificate IV or Diploma in Community Development, Local Government, Business or other relevant disciplines or extensive equivalent experience. Experience with SmartyGrants or similar systems will be highly regarded.
