Inner West Specialist Oral Surgeons – Burwood NSW We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist/Assistant to join our team in Burwood, NSW clinic on a 12-month fixed-term maternity leave contract, with potential for extension. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our oral surgery practice. With a focus on exceptional customer service, you will be responsible for managing patient enquiries, scheduling appointments, stock control and providing administrative support to our Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. What you'll be doing General administrative duties, including hospital bookings, payments, theatre lists, professional correspondence Assisting with minor in-rooms procedures Sterilisation and infection control duties Post-operative reviews and patient support Scheduling and managing patient appointments, ensuring efficient clinic flow Handling incoming phone calls, emails, and other communications with patients Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and files Assisting with the preparation of reports and other administrative tasks What we're looking for Experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar role in a healthcare setting Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively Proficient in using medical software, electronic booking systems, and other office technologies Demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate patient records Flexible and adaptable What we offer At Inner West Specialist Oral Surgeons', we are committed to providing a supportive and collaborative work environment.
