As Program Manager, you’ll coordinate and deliver key initiatives across the National TAFE Network (NTN), ensuring alignment with national skills priorities, TAFE Centres of Excellence objectives, and Canberra Institute of Technology’s (CIT) Strategic Plan. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and collaboration, driving excellence in vocational education through partnerships, forward-thinking projects, and continuous improvement. What we are looking for: We’re seeking a dynamic and strategic leader who thrives on collaboration and delivering impact through partnership and innovation. You will bring: Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-stream programs or projects, ideally across the education, training, or public sectors. Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities, with experience fostering partnerships that drive innovation and quality outcomes. Confidence in data-driven decision-making, with the ability to interpret performance insights and report to senior stakeholders. A passion for education design, innovation, and continuous improvement, particularly in emerging models like higher apprenticeships and micro-credentials. In this influential role, you will: Lead the strategic planning, execution, and evaluation of national initiatives that strengthen collaboration and excellence across the TAFE sector. Coordinate program governance and risk management, ensuring delivery aligns with national skills strategies and CIT’s long-term goals. Build and maintain strategic partnerships across TAFEs, industry, and government, representing CIT and the NTN in key national forums. Use data and forecasting tools to monitor performance, track progress, and inform evidence-based decision-making. Drive innovation in education design, supporting initiatives that enhance curriculum alignment, digital learning, and workforce readiness. Deliver high-quality stakeholder engagement and operational support, including events, communications, and documentation management. This is a unique opportunity to influence the future of vocational education and skills development on a national scale. You’ll be part of a collaborative, purpose-driven environment where your strategic leadership and partnership skills will directly contribute to shaping programs that prepare Australians for the jobs of tomorrow.
