Base pay range A$150,000.00/yr - A$170,000.00/yr About the role Reporting to the Chief People Officer (CPO), you will be the key HR collaborator and partner to our Australian leaders. This is a pivotal role focused on delivering proactive, operational HR solutions, advice, and coaching to drive organisational effectiveness and compliance. Key Responsibilities Employee & Industrial Relations (ER/IR): Strong emphasis on Award interpretation and partnering with the business on Enterprise Agreement (EA) related matters. Partner with leaders on ER/IR across performance management, grievances, and dispute resolution. HR Partnering & Coaching: Provide timely, expert, commercially focused HR advice across the employee lifecycle – recruitment, performance management, talent development, and compliance. Talent Acquisition: Manage the local talent acquisition process, partnering with leaders on assignments, remuneration benchmarking, sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding. HR Project Implementation: Collaborate with the CPO to review and develop HR policies and processes, lead local implementation of global/national HR initiatives, and recommend initiatives boosting values and employee engagement. What You'll Bring 5+ years proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a dynamic, growing environment. Energy/power sector experience preferred. Demonstrated experience in Award interpretation and managing complex ER/IR issues, including EA negotiations. Strong tertiary qualification in Human Resources. Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and industrial relations practices. Strong relationship management, collaboration, coaching, and influencing skills at all levels. Proven ability to operate both strategically and operationally. A hands‑on approach essential for our start‑up environment.
