About the role : Reporting to the Chief People Officer (CPO) , you will be the key HR collaborator and partner to our Australian leaders. This is a pivotal role focused on delivering proactive, operational HR solutions, advice, and coaching to drive organisational effectiveness and compliance. Key Responsibilities : Employee & Industrial Relations (ER / IR) : This is a key focus.A strong emphasis will be on Award interpretation and partnering with the business in regard to Enterprise Agreement (EA) related matters. You will partner with leaders across all aspects of ER / IR, including performance management, grievances, and dispute resolution process. HR Partnering & Coaching : Provide timely, expert, and commercially focused HR advice to leaders and managers across the entire employee life cycle , including recruitment, performance management, talent development, and compliance. Talent Acquisition : Manage the local talent acquisition process, partnering with leaders on assignments, remuneration benchmarking, sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding. HR Project Implementation : Collaborate with the CPO to review and develop HR policies and processes, and lead the local implementation of global / national HR initiatives. Recommend initiatives to reinforce our values and promote high employee engagement. What You'll Bring 5 + years proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a dynamic, growing environment. Experience in the energy / power sector is preferred. Demonstrated experience in Award interpretation and managing complex ER / IR issues, including Enterprise Agreement (EA) negotiations. A tertiary qualification in Human Resources. Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and industrial relations practices. Strong relationship management, collaboration, coaching, and influencing skills across all levels. Proven ability to operate both strategically and operationally. A hands-on approach to work is essential in our start-up environment.
