City of Melbourne, Österreich Veriu Vollzeit

We are Veriu Group (pronounced 'Very You') Our brands come from humble beginnings and a passion for connecting travellers to the local authenticity of a location. We aim to bring people together in new ways, to create lifelong travel memories that can’t be found in a guidebook, and to help people discover the true experience of a place. Through our brands Punthill Apartment Hotels and Veriu Hotels & Suites, we operate 25 hotels across Australia and have over 35 years of brand history. Our ambitious plan to operate 80 hotels becomes closer this year with numerous new hotel openings across the country, and this means we’re well on our way to achieving our mission of becoming the largest Australian-owned apartment hotel operator. Our people are incredible because they're empowered to be themselves. We're not about hierarchy or rigid structure. Instead, we create an environment where people can make decisions, feel supported and access unlimited opportunities for growth. Our values of Relationship‑Focused, Integrity, Personal Growth & Ownership Mindset guide our actions and decisions, and are what our diverse culture is all about. Now is the perfect time for like‑minded people to join our expansion journey. If you’re looking for a meaningful role that can make a serious impact, within a culture that allows you to be truly you – you’ve found us and we can’t wait to hear from you In joining our Group's Sales Team as National Account Manager (NAM), you'll be part of a high‑performing sales function that is based nationally. Our team strategically supports our growing portfolio of hotels, and works closely with other teams in our business to secure and retain more business from our core customer, the corporate traveller. Our NAMs are responsible for the retention, management and growth of their accounts across our Group, which include a wide range of segments and national accounts headquartered in Victoria. The goal? To achieve corporate account retention and growth targets for your allocated accounts, and explore genuine opportunities to increase market share of accounts right across our network. Your experience will allow you to influence travel bookers, decision makers and key stakeholders because you'll know the intimate details of their travel needs and provide suitable (& sometimes creative) solutions. At Veriu Group we recognise that people do business with people, and therefore strong genuine relationships are at the core of our business and success. As NAM you'll be out and about enhancing relationships with corporate clients, hotels and our corporate office, so local travel regularly will be required, as well as occasional interstate travel. Accountabilities At Veriu you'll know exactly what you need to achieve to be successful in your role, and you'll be held accountable for the: Strategic retention and growth of your assigned existing national account portfolio through direct company engagement and meetings Achievement of corporate account retention and growth targets Identification and exploration of genuine across‑group production opportunities for increased market share Timely and strategic execution of contracts, tenders and preferred hotel programs Alignment of portfolio production to group revenue targets and goals Use of clear, detailed and collaborative communication of rate offering to hotel key stakeholders to ensure delivery of expected experience and requirements Seamless acceptance of accounts handed over Complete integrity of data personally entered in the CRM Identification of new sales leads into the lead qualifying pipeline You’ll be someone looking for a long‑term career with a growing, Australian‑owned hotel group. Access: Generous commission structure National career growth opportunities Career development opportunities in Sales or Hotel Management The chance to mentor our rising talent Genuine flexibility and job security High performing culture that values relationships & individuality, where our leadership know you by name Generous referral bonuses when you refer your friends to work with us (up to $1000) Discounts on accommodation across our network Discounts on private health insurance Access to our Employee Assistance Program Desired Skills and Experience About You We work in a fast‑paced environment where no day is the same, so we’re looking for someone who is adaptable, enjoys variety and operates with an ownership mindset. Your strong experience in a similar B2B account management role within hotels will be key to your success, enabling you to be autonomous and strategic at a Group‑level autonomously, while also ensuring that internal relationships are valued as much as external. You’ll be intrinsically motivated to achieve targets, value your relationships with our hotel operations, and embrace opportunities to be a brand ambassador. Above all, you’ll have a friendly and articulate approach to communicating. The successful person must have: Approved Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a Visa with approved working rights) Experience in account management and/or business development in hotels Intrinsic motivation to achieve targets Ability to think strategically and plan Excellent relationship management skills Strong understanding of hotel sales and negotiations Excellent collaboration, assertiveness and communication (written and verbal at all levels) Effective organisation, detail orientation and time management Ability to influence decision makers and provide creative solutions #J-18808-Ljbffr
