Respiratory & Sleep Service – Ringwood VIC We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression for our patients and ensuring the smooth operation of our front office. Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner. Manage incoming calls and schedule appointments efficiently. Handle patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate information is collected. Maintain electronic medical records and ensure patient confidentiality. Process Medicare claims and verify patient billing information. Assist with billing inquiries and coordinate referrals. Support the clinical team, and Specialists with administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical administration preferred. Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a healthcare environment is highly desirable. Strong communication and customer service skills. Computer literacy skills: proficient in Microsoft Office, Drop Box and familiarity with EMR systems. Ability to multitask and manage a busy office environment. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities. Why Work With Us?
