Job Description Our Medical Centre is seeking a Casual/Part-time medical receptionist to support health practitioners & their patients. Opportunity to learn on the job and obtain an interesting and rewarding career in Medical Administration. Duties include, however, are not limited to: Assist patients to book appointments in person, via telephone or via the internet. Reschedule patients due to changes in availability. Greet patients on the day of their appointment. Data entry of information provided via patient information forms and referrals. Electronic and hard copy filing. Billing patients (e.g. via EFTPOS, HICAPS, Medicare etc.). Phone, email and faxing on behalf of the doctors. Other duties as directed from time-to-time by the Practice Manager. Desired attributes, skills, and knowledge Reliable, team player, and trustworthy. Outstanding oral and written communication skills. High level of professionalism and personal presentation. High level of computer literacy. Location and working hours Must be able to work between the hours of 8:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday - Friday with flexibility as required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
