Sales Manager – Marina Mindarie About the Destination The Marina, Mindarie is one of Perth’s leading waterfront hospitality and events precincts, home to the Marina Hotel, Indian Ocean Brewing Co, The Boat, The Pavilion, Cabana Pool Bar, and more. With a growing corporate, conference, tourism and group market, we’re looking for a Sales Manager to help drive our next stage of growth. About the Role Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales Manager will lead sales activity across corporate events, conferences, tourism, and group bookings. You will manage the full sales cycle — from enquiry and proposal through to confirmed bookings — and work closely with Events and Operations to ensure every function runs smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, hitting targets, and creating exceptional experiences for guests. Key Responsibilities Sales & Growth Develop and deliver sales strategies for corporate, conference, tourism and group markets. Identify new opportunities and drive proactive outreach to meet revenue targets. Provide insights to support wider business planning. Client Relationships Act as main contact for key clients, corporate accounts and tourism partners. Conduct venue tours and site inspections. Build strong relationships that lead to repeat bookings. Booking Coordination Manage enquiries from first contact to confirmation. Prepare proposals, quotes, contracts and event briefs. Hand over bookings smoothly to Events and Operations teams. Maintain accurate CRM notes, timelines and documentation. Partnerships & Brewery Relations Maintain brewery account relationships. Coordinate corporate tastings, visits and hosting. Explore partnership and cross-promotion opportunities. Reporting & Collaboration Keep CRM and sales pipelines up to date. Prepare weekly/monthly reports on performance. Work closely with Marketing, Events and Operations to support campaigns and booking requirements. Customer Service & Commercial Responsibilities Provide exceptional, solutions-focused service. Support pricing, package development and revenue optimisation. Assist with invoicing and reconciliation when required. Something About You Confident relationship-builder with experience in sales, events, hospitality or tourism. Motivated by targets and business growth. Strong communicator with excellent presentation skills. Organised, detail-focused and able to manage multiple enquiries at once. Professional and personable, representing the Marina brand with pride.
