Supported by a service-driven team, you will carry out regulatory investigations and enforcement activities, undertake routine parking patrols, assist with the operation of Council’s animal shelter, and help deliver public education programs and events across our community. The successful applicant will demonstrate their competency for the position, by meeting the following criteria: Current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence and a valid Working with Children Check. Minimum two years relevant work experience in a regulatory and enforcement role. Demonstrated experience in parking patrols including school zonesand the issue of associated penalties for these and other offences. Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply legislation relevant to the position. Ability to plan, prioritise, think and solve problems on a day-to-day basis. Demonstrated experience in the preparation of legal evidence, notices, orders and directions. Superior verbal communication, engagement and conflict resolution skills. This position will be required to work out-of-hours, including on-call during the week and weekends as per roster rotation.
