Location: NSW - MUST BE WILLING TO WORK AWAY Employment type: Full-time PCA Ground Engineering is an innovative company offering design and construction ground engineering services to both private and public sector clients. We target both subcontract and principal subcontractor works, and we are looking for a Site Engineer to join our team in New South Wales. As a Site Engineer, you’ll be supporting our Project Engineers and Project Managers in the delivery of Civil Construction, Piling, Ground Engineering and Geotechnical projects across New South Wales. This role is open to both experienced candidates and recent graduates. We welcome all applications Responsibilities Assisting the Project Managers with creating, distributing and managing project QA/QC documentation and procedures Inspecting project construction sites, where required, to ensure conformance to design specifications and standards Working closely with the estimating, engineering and construction teams to ensure projects are managed efficiently and add value to PCA’s clients Participating and supporting industry best practice, health, safety and environmental initiatives Carrying out Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities within the design team Qualifications A Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant qualifications and experience Experience in civil, foundation or slope stability projects (Graduate Engineers or related backgrounds encouraged) ‘Can Do’ attitude with a solution‑focused approach Experience in ground engineering (piled foundations and/or slope stability) will be favourably considered Proficiency in MS Project (or similar) and MS Office programs Clear written and verbal communication skills (examples of written reports may be requested) Ability to travel for work as required (travel and working rosters on projects away from head office will be part of the job) An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate in line with their experience. The role will be based in the Southern Region, which is considered South of the Queensland border. Most of our Southern Region team live within the Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong areas, and these locations are well positioned to service our NSW region. It’s not imperative that the candidate live in this area, but it would advantageous.
