Project Support Officer Contract to 06 / 12 / 2026 | Bowen Hills + WFH. We're working with a leading Queensland government client to recruit an experienced Project Support Officer. In this role you will be responsible for the administration and overseeing of activities in support of the geoscientists and financial operations in the location and in connection with other AAR offices. Key Responsibilities Manage SAP purchase requisitioning and service entry. Handle vendor payments (PO / Service entry) and manage parts of the contract process, ensuring accurate interfacing with SAP. Manage all flight and travel bookings for staff, adhering to global travel policies and online booking tools (including Amex systems). Provide comprehensive admin support to the GM, EM, and Geoscientists. Manage meeting room bookings (MS Outlook) and handle general ad‑hoc office administration, including Reception duties. Assist in the Warehouse operations. A forklift ticket is required for this, or you must be prepared to gain the certification quickly. Apply knowledge of HR processes for onboarding contractors and staff into network systems, ensuring communication and financial requirements are met. Understand and apply knowledge of SPO (SharePoint Online) regarding what, when, and where to save critical documents. What We're Looking For Proficient in areas of SAP related to Purchase Orders, Vendor maintenance, and Vendor payments. Strong understanding and knowledge of AMEX systems, global travel policy (e.g., Rio Tinto Global Travel policy is highly relevant), online booking tools, and airline charges. Understanding and application of knowledge in SPO (SharePoint Online) for document management. Proven ability to gather information and ensure successful cross‑sharing of requirements with commodity teams.
