Role Overview Nuix is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager specialising in managing our Licensing capability. The candidate ideally will have a background in any of the following: eDiscovery, Investigations, Information / Data Governance, or Forensic Investigations. As the Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in setting the strategic product management vision for Nuix's flagship product platform. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the product's commercial success, while driving innovation, growth, and customer satisfaction. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can be a positive influence within the team, act as a change agent, and possess the expertise to identify and achieve commercial outputs for the product platform. The candidate is required to attend the office a minimum of 3 days per week but may voluntarily elect to work either remotely or from the Sydney office for the remaining days of the week. Key Responsibilities Develop and articulate a strategic product management vision for the Nuix Licensing capability, aligning with the Nuix's overall objectives. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product innovation and differentiation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer success, to define and prioritize product roadmap initiatives based on strategic goals and customer requirements. Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept through to launch, as well as perform on-going lifecycle management, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products and features. Define and track key product metrics, regularly assess product performance, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement. Act as a subject matter expert in any of the specialised fields of eDiscovery, Investigations, Information / Data Governance, or Forensic Investigations, providing guidance and expertise to internal teams and customers. Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry experts, to understand their needs and incorporate their feedback into the product roadmap. Champion the product internally, effectively communicating its value proposition, benefits, and competitive advantages to internal teams and executives. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and sales enablement materials to drive product adoption and revenue growth. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to eDiscovery, Investigations, Data Governance, and Forensic Investigations, and incorporate that knowledge into the product strategy and roadmap. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Proven track record of at least 5+ years in product management, with a specialization in Licensing (SaaS or enterprise software background who understands product monetization, and has experience with system integrations). Experience with JIRA, Aha, and ServiceNow. Desirable: PM with hands‑on experience in software licensing models (subscription, perpetual, usage‑based) and technical knowledge of license enforcement, and security measures; understanding of both the business strategy and the technical implementation challenges involved. Demonstrated ability to set a strategic product management vision and successfully execute it, driving commercial success for the product platform. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to use data‑driven insights to make informed product decisions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others, act as a positive role model, and drive change within the organization. Experience in agile development methodologies and working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Knowledge of cloud computing, SaaS platforms, and related technologies. There may be travel requirements in select cases, but the role is primarily based out of Sydney CBD, with support for a hybrid work environment.
