Job Description We’re excited to be expanding our multidisciplinary team supporting NDIS participants living in the Wollongong & Nowra region and welcome an Occupational Therapist looking to make a meaningful and rewarding impact in their local community. Successful candidates will be providing supports to cover NDIS participants living in the following areas (depending on where you live) Wollongong, Nowra & surrounding suburbs. You may work in childcare centres, schools, aged care facilities, day programs, the community, homes, and/or the clinic space. Our clinicians advocate strongly for our participants so that they can get the support they need, when they need it Responsibilities Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity to perform ADLs and IADLs. Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals. Participate in professional development and receive formal 1:1 supervision. Engage in group supervision & disability specific workshops. Collaborate with our wider multidisciplinary team of Speech therapists, Physiotherapists, EPs, Psychologists and BSPs. Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload. A pro‑active attitude and interest in continually developing your skills.
