As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you’ll play a key role in improving the lives of clients through community‑based therapy services in the Wollongong area. You'll work within a supportive, multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing holistic, person‑centred care. Day to day responsibilities Deliver evidence‑based clinical care in the community through a range of programs and funding streams including Home Care Package, Commonwealth Home Support Program and Hospital Substitution programs. Provide evidence‑based occupational therapy through assessment and interventions for clients with complex health conditions or age‑related care needs. Prescribe assistive aids and equipment, home environment modifications, and support services to support the goals of the client and carers. Support the development and clinical growth of other Occupational Therapists within the clinical team. Work within a multidisciplinary team to get the best outcomes for your clients. Employee Assistance Programme. Qualifications and requirements Community or hospital OT experience. Occupational Therapy degree with AHPRA registration. Valid driver’s licence and insured vehicle.
