Information Technology Program Manager Employment: Contract – Small to Medium Scale Programs Experience: 5+ years Location: Sydney, Australia – Hybrid Eligibility: Candidates must have the right to work in Australia (Citizen, PR, Valid Visa holders). Key Responsibilities Execute small to medium scale, multi‑dimensional and complex IT programs. Own end‑to‑end program governance: scope, schedule, budget, quality, and resources. Manage risks, change management, configuration management, communications, and stakeholder updates. Drive issue identification, escalation, mitigation, and resolution. Lead and coordinate cross‑functional delivery teams, external vendors, and client stakeholders. Ensure compliance with PMO frameworks, quality processes, and delivery methodologies. Generate program status reports and maintain all program documentation. Ensure programs are delivered on‑time, within budget, and meeting agreed success criteria. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in Program or Project Management within IT/Technology delivery. Proven experience managing end‑to‑end IT programs in enterprise or consulting environments. Hands‑on delivery experience using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies. Strong background in stakeholder engagement across technical and business teams. Technical & Professional Skills Strong understanding of program lifecycle management, governance models, RAID logs, and PMO processes. Expertise in budget management, forecasting, and financial tracking. Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, Clarity, or equivalent). Knowledge of large deal program processes, transition management, and delivery frameworks. Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, or digital transformation domains (depending on program type).
