Caring Support Worker for Our Daughter – Thornleigh NSW We’re a friendly local family looking for a kind and reliable carer to support our 30‑year‑old daughter. She’s a gentle, fun‑loving young woman who is wheelchair‑bound and non‑verbal. This is high‑need care with an NDIS support ratio of 2 to 1; training will be available. Location: Thornleigh NSW 2120Hours: 3+ shifts available – Days 8:30 am‑2:00 pm or afternoons 2:00 pm‑8:00 pmExtra: Occasional weekend shifts if you’d like extra hours About the Role Your day will include: Personal care and daily routines Helping with meals and mobility Taking our daughter out for community activities and outings Providing companionship and support in a calm, caring way You’ll be working closely with our family, so good communication and a genuine, patient nature are critical. What We’re Looking For A current driver’s licence (essential – outings are part of the role) Someone dependable, compassionate, and trustworthy Experience in disability or personal care is great; we’re happy to guide the right person Current First Aid/CPR, NDIS Worker Screening, and Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain) A Bit About Us We’re a warm and supportive family who value kindness, humour, and creating a positive environment for our daughter.
